LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 will be conducting the two batches of Training of Trainers (TOT) on Digital Farmers Program (DFP) on April 20-22 and 27-29, 2022, respectively.

This will be participated by the Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) Cooperators and Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in Region 13.

This training aims to train participants in implementing the Digital Farmers Program in their respective areas and local government units (LGUs) for the AEWs.

Moreover, participants are expected to present and explain the components of the Digital Farmers Program and present and discuss the DFP toolkit, modules, and other resources during the 3-day training. They will be conducting a simulation of different in-training scenarios through microteaching as one of their outputs together with the development of action plans right after the training.

Discussion on the DFP Toolkit, DFP 101 and 102 Facilitator’s Decks and Modules will be the coverage during the TOT. Lectures, workshops and various hands-on activities will be the methodologies to be used.

Said training will be spearheaded by the Information Services Section (ISS) of the ATI-RTC 13 with Ginalyn V. Arbutante, Information Officer II as Project Officer. This is funded under the Rice Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA)-ATI. In partnership with Smart Communications, Inc.
