MABUA, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur – As part of empowering the youth called the “Hope of our Nation” here in Caraga Region, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII conducted the Training on Organizational Strengthening for 4-H Club Officers on April 11-13, 2022.

The three-day activity aims to provide the 4-H club leaders timely and relevant inputs related to empowering them by providing direction to effectively attain its goals.

Participants were from Surigao del Sur composed of 12 from Tandag City, six from Carrascal, and one from Cantilan. They were able to listen to lectures on the history and opportunities as agripreneurs being a 4-H club member discussed by Stella Mae N. Quico from the Department of Agriculture – Caraga Region.

They also gained insights on self-awareness, personality development, organizational management, and leadership thru social influence were explained by Ms. Novalil Tubo from the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) – Cabadbaran City.

“It was indeed fun and very educational strategy done by the speakers. I have learned a lot of information and some details were refreshments to me. Every one of us was able to connect and participate during the seminar,” said Diana Marie O. Alelodin, one of the participants from Tandag City.

The said training was spearheaded by the Partnership and Accreditation Services Section (PASS) with Mary Jane Gonzaga, 4-H point person and project officers.
