CARRASCAL, Surigao del Sur – Moving forward towards the provision of support to the Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) in Caraga Region, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII awarded extension support to Emily Integrated Farm under the Rice Enhancement Competitiveness Fund (RCEF).

Violeta T. Laguna, OIC - Asst. Center Director of ATI-RTC XIII, led the awarding ceremony last on October 11, 2022 to its farm owner and manager, Emily Nimes.

It was attended by Violeta Laguna, ATI-RTC XIII OIC-Asst. Center Director, and Mary Jane Gonzaga, Development Management Officer I. It was also joined by Flordeles Derigay, Agricultural Technologist from the Municipal Agriculture Office of Carrascal, Surigao del Sur.

The support given were laptop, 3in1 printer, tables, and chairs as part of the farm’s enhancement. It is located at Barangay Gamuton where crops are grown and livestock are raised.
