LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – It was a sigh of relief for the staff of the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13) after the ISO 9001:2015 3rd Party surveillance audit was completed last February 9, 2022. TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines Inc. (TUV SUD), ATI’s third-party certifying body, conducted a remote surveillance audit on the system of the Center last February 9, 2022. TUV-SUD auditors Charlie Labrador and Michelle Geli observed only 2 minor nonconformities (NCs) and 1 Opportunity for Improvement (OFI). They had zero findings in the processes under Top Management and Information Services Section (ISS).

The Center manages, controls, and audits its own processes via its Internal Quality Audit (IQA) team, aside from the third-party certification body, verifying whether its Quality Management System (QMS) meets the requirements. In this way, the QMS can protect against, reduce the likelihood of occurrence, and recover from disruptive incidents when they happen.
