Rural Improvement Club (RIC) Federation of Region 2, Inc conducted a consultation meeting with ATI-RTC 02 at Malasin, San Mateo, Isabela on February 9, 2023.

It was attended by ATI-RTC Center Director Imelda M. Guillermo, Cagayan Provincial Agriculturist Perla Mabasa, and provincial officers of the different provinces of Region 2. The meeting aimed to harmonize plans and facilitate successful implementation of RIC activities in the region.

RIC is an association of rural women which exists to uplift farmer and fisher families in their locality. This is attained through farm home resources management, leadership in community, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

The organization’s action plan titled “RIC Today and Beyond Plan” was given priority during the meeting. Each province agreed to submit their action plans in March. Meanwhile, election of new set of officers was also schedule this March.

Other matters discussed were submission of enrolment forms, annual dues payment, updating of their bank account, and review of their Constitution and By-Laws.
