The Agricultural Training Institute- Central Luzon (ATI-CL) defended its title as champion in the Basketball Men's Category during the 2024 ATI Luzon Cluster A Sportsfest held at ATI- RTC 2, Cagayan Valley, San Mateo, Isabela from June 4-6, 2024.
This annual event, which started last year, promotes friendship and camaraderie through sports and activities among the competing teams from ATI-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), ATI-RTC I in Ilocos Region, ATI-RTC II in Cagayan Valley, and ATI-RTC III in Central Luzon. The games and activities include cheer dance competition, Mr. and Ms. ATI pageant, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and scrabble. The center also emerged as champion in the Badminton Men's Category. Moreover, Engr. Rannel S. Cruz and Ms. Justine Abaco from ATI-CL were recognized as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up, respectively, in the Mr. and Ms. ATI pageant.
During the opening program, the Center Directors of ATI-Luzon A Cluster, Mr. Charlie C. Sagudan (ATI-CAR); Dr. Claris M. Alaska, DPA (ATI-Cagayan Valley); Dr. Jayvee Bryan G. Carillo (ATI-Ilocos Region); and Dr. Joey A. Belarmino (ATI-CL), introduced their respective teams participating in various sport activities.
Mr. Noel Cirineo, Municipal Administrator of San Mateo, Isabela, welcomed the participants on behalf of Municipal Mayor Atty. Gregorio Alipio Pua, expressing gratitude for choosing their town as the venue for the 2024 ATI-Luzon A Cluster Sport Fest.
Next year, the ATI-Luzon A Cluster Sport Fest is scheduled to take place in Ilocos Region.
