Fifty coconut farmers from Casiguran, Aurora, actively participated in the 3rd batch of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) Information Caravan held at the Gymnasium of Brgy. Calabgan, Casiguran, and Aurora on March 14, 2024.

The activity concluded in collaboration with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and the Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL).

Under the theme β€œMasagana, Matatag, at Progresibong Industriya ng Niyog sa Bansa,” the caravan aims to disseminate information and inform the farmers about the government programs for coconut farmers in the Philippines.

Additionally, it seeks to modernize and improve the coconut industry in the country.

Mr. John Patrick Gutierez, ATI-CL Technical Support Staff IV, commenced the activity by welcoming the participants and the representatives from partner agencies.

Ms. Angelica C. Buena, Agricultural Technologist from the Municipal Agriculture Office of Casiguran, Aurora, delivered a welcome message to the coconut farmers of Casiguran.

Furthermore, Senator Cynthia A. Villar expressed gratitude and delivered an inspirational message to the participants of the information caravan through a video message.

Moreover, various representatives from different partner agencies also provided valuable information regarding coconut farming and industry to the participants.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Eula Dee LaΓ±ada, Office-in-Charge of the Information Services Section (ISS) at ATI-CL.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
