In collaboration with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), the Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) conducted the 4th batch of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Program (CFIDP) Information Caravan, held at Diarabasin, Dipaculao, Aurora, on March 19, 2024.

The caravan aims to promote growth and sustainability in the coconut industry while updating stakeholders on recent advancements and developments and equipping participants with knowledge and resources to enhance their farming practices.

Ms. Anabelle Lapitan, Dipaculao Municipal Agriculturist, opened the information caravan by extending a warm welcome to all the participants.

Additionally, Senator Cynthia A. Villar, Chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, gave an inspirational remark to the participants through a video message.

Meanwhile, representatives from participating agencies, including the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), and Landbank of the Philippines (LBP), discussed the strategies for advancing the coconut industry in the Philippines through their offered assistance.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Eula Dee LaΓ±ada, Office-in-Charge of the Information Services Section (ISS) at ATI-CL.

A total of 50 coconut farmers participated in the said information caravan.
