The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) discussed the Unified Extension System for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Information System (UnExSys) in its online weekly magazine program, “iAgri TV: Connect,” held on April 1, 2024.

Hosted by Mr. John Patrick S. Gutierez, ATI-CL Technical Support Staff IV, the discussion on UnExSys was led by Mr. Marciano C. Santos, ATI-CL Unit Head of the Planning and Monitoring Evaluation Unit and Planning Officer II.

UnExSys, developed in a collaborative effort between the Agricultural Training Institute-Central Office (ATI-CO) and its Policy and Planning Division and Information Services Division, aims to streamline extension activities, covering planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of ATI’s initiatives.

Mr. Santos emphasized the accessibility of ATI's plans to policymakers and decision-makers, including the office of the secretary, through the UnExSys website.

He says, “So, dito, we make plans ng ATI easily accessible to the policy makers and decision makers, including the office of the secretary. Anytime available, yung data natin sa planning, even yung mga previous years accomplishments nandiyan, nakapaloob sa UnExSys.”

He also added that ATI was prioritizing the registration of the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs), including the Local Government Unit (LGU), State Universities and Colleges (SUC), Extension Service Provider (ESP), and Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA), with plans to extend the registration to ATI staff in the following period of time.

In addition, the ATI’s target registrants are the temporary, coterminous, contractual, and casual employees, specifically, permanent employees.

At the end of the program, Mr. Santos encouraged the AEWs to register on the website.

The website was launched in February 2024 and its awareness campaign began in March 2024.

Furthermore, the registration started this April until May 2024, with the following months dedicated to data validation.
