The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in collaboration with the Office of Senator Grace Poe (OSGP) and Office of the Provincial Agriculturist in Tarlac, conducted the Municipal Training on Goat production for Binhi ng Pag-asa Program beneficiaries of Tarlac - Batch 3 held at Farmer's Training Center, Tarlac Agricultural University, Camiling, Tarlac on July 16-18, 2024.
Mr. Jessie John L. Piayo, OIC-Municipal Agriculturist of Paniqui, Tarlac, warmly welcomed the participants.
βExperience is the best teacher, kung kayaβt mag-aral ng mabuti at ibigay ninyo ang best nyo sa tatlong araw ninyong pagsasanay,β Mr. Piayo said.
Additionally, Hon. Leonardo M. Roxas Sr., the Municipal Mayor, showed his support for the youth of Camiling, Tarlac, in his message.
βAng Binhi ng Pag-asa Program ay isang napakagandang hakbang upang gabayan at hubugin ang mga bagong henerasyon ng mga magsasaka. Kayo ang potensyal at talento na makakatulong upang maging makabago ang pamamaraan sa pagsasaka at sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng mga bagong teknolohiya,β Hon. Max Roxas said.

Furthermore, Ms. Frances Imee D. Patag and Mr. Edriane Timothy C. Tabor, National Training of Trainers finishers discussed the following modules including National Situation; Leadership and Values Formation; Agricultural Advocacies; Agripreneurship; and Social Media in Farming.
Dr. Allan Jeffrey E. Francia, Dr. Annalie B. Paragas, and Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez from College of Veterinary Medicine of TAU, discussed goat production with the following topics on Potentials of Goat Production; Production Management; Ranging, Feeds, and Feeding; Common Diseases of Goats and Add- on Enterprise on Goat Production.
Mr. John Arris E. Rayo from the College of Agriculture and Forestry discussed Economics on Goat Production.
Moreover, the participants experienced hands-on activities such as UMMB Making, Silage Preparation, Age Identification through Dentition and Ear tagging at TAU AI Laboratory and Goat Production area.
Dr. Allan Jeffrey Francia, Dr. Annalie B Paragas, and Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez, from the College of Veterinary Medicine guided the participants in their demonstration of the said hands-on activity.
And to serve as the final output, the participants prepared and submitted their re-entry plan.
