
A total of six (6) young farmers applicants from Central Luzon has successfully passed the National Written Examination for the Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan (FYFIPT) Batch 6 held at ATI-CL, San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan on February 10, 2025.
The qualified candidates are Ms. Rosebelle Q. Hugo from Aurora; Mr. Allardyce S. Aragon and Ms. Jessa R. Llabrez from Bataan; Mr. Jayron R. Pentecostes from Tarlac; and Ms. Gwynne M. Falloran and Ms. Elyza Jane R. Santiago from Zambales.
These individuals will now proceed to the next phase of the application process, which includes field validation and interviews to further assess their qualifications and readiness for the internship program.
Prior to the examination, Dr. Joey A. Belarmino, Center Director, ATI-CL welcomed the applicants, providing words of encouragement and assuring them of full support from ATI Central Luzon throughout their journey, including assistance during their 11-month internship in Taiwan and upon their return to apply their newly acquired skills.
Additionally, Dr. Dianne M. Lapuz, Regional Focal Person of the International Exchange Program, conducted an orientation regarding the FYFIPT before the exam.
Moreover, the FYFIPT is a collaborative initiative between the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at empowering young Filipino farmers through advanced agricultural training opportunities in Taiwan.
