The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) conducted the Training Course on Production Technology with Extension Support for RBOs (Batch 6) among 20 indigenous peoples (IPs) at Barangay Salaza, Paluig, Zambales.
Hon. Lorna B. Gloria, Barangay Chairperson of Barangay Salaza, welcomed the participants and wished the success of the training.
Ms. Genalyn E. Mojica, Technician of Palauig, Zambales, acknowledged the participants and encouraged them to enjoy the training.
Mr. Crisostomo Rabaca, Provincial Agriculturist of Zambales graced the opening ceremony.
"Maraming salamat sa ATI sa mabilisang tugon sa ating request na training para sa ating mga kapatid na Aeta dito sa Palauig, Zambales. Nawa sa inyong pakikinig sa ating mga speakers ay magkaroon kayo ng dagdag na kaalaman at Ang mga extension support na inyong makukuha ay inyong mapalago at magsilbing kasangkapan para mas umunlad pa ang inyong pamumuhay. Makakaasa kayo na kami sa aming tanggapan ay inyong makakasama sa pagkamit ng tagumpay pagdating sa inyong magiging re-entry plan," said Mr. Rabaca.
Dr. Dianne M. Lapuz, Project Officer of the training, gave the training overview and encouraged the participants to embrace the training as well as the extension support they will receive during the graduation ceremony.
Mr. Geowell Raymund Gutierrez and Mr. Mario Paradeza from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist served as the speakers of the training.
The training ran from October 16-18, 2023.
