RICs undergo urban food production seminar

A seminar on Urban Food Production Batch 20 took place in San Ildefonso, Bulacan which drew in 25 eager participants from the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) on October 4, 2023.

Mr. Victorio C. Joson, Jr. Municipal Agriculturist of San Ildefonso, Bulacan delivered message of inspiration and support to the participants.

The seminar served as a platform to foster knowledge and skills in urban agriculture, emphasizing sustainable practices and self-sufficiency in food production.

Participants engaged in various workshops and discussions, exploring innovative methods to grow nutritious crops in urban environments while also addressing challenges related to limited space and resources.

Mr. Jeffrey Mabuhay Layacaan, expert from Bausa Integrated Farm, served as the speaker of the seminar.

This initiative is a significant step towards promoting community-based food security and bolstering the agricultural capabilities of San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

The batch of 25 RIC members actively participating in this seminar demonstrates the community's commitment to enhancing their agricultural know-how.
