The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) celebrated the 37th Anniversary of the Institute through GABI NG PAGKILALA: 37 TAONG MATAGUMPAY NA SERBISYONG EKSTENSIYON SA GITNANG LUZON honoring all partners and stakeholders on February 7, 2024.

During the event, Dr. Joey A. Belarmino, Center Director, presented the Center’s accomplishments in 2023 and the 2024 Priority Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Programs.

Hon. Maria Angela S. Garcia, Representative, 3rd District of Bataan, served as Keynote Speaker of the activity.Β  Hon. Garcia expressed her gratitude to ATI in bringing excellent extension services in the whole region.Β 

β€œAko ay taos-pusong bumabati sa lahat ng isang maligayang anibersaryo sa Agricultural Training Institute – tatlumpung pitong taong matagumpay na serbisyong ekstensyon sa Gitnang Luzon. Thank you for bringing excellent extension services not just in Bataan but in the whole region. Nais ko ring kunin ang pagkakataong ito para pasalamatan kayo sa inyong tulong at suporta para masiguro na epektibo ang inyong mga pagsasanay at iba pang serbisyong ekstensyon sa nakalipas na taon,” she quipped.

Hon. Garcia also gave her support to the Center as its partner in implementing the programs for the betterment of the farmers in the region. β€œKami po dito sa Bataan ay handang tumulong at yumakap sa ATI sa kanilang mga programa para sa ikauunlad ng ating probinsya. Hiling ko na tuloy-tuloy tayong magtulungan lalo na ngayong 2024 dahil ang tagumpay ng programa ninyo ay tagumpay ng lahat ng magsasaka dito sa Gitnang Luzon,” she added.

In addition, Sen. Cynthia A. Villar, Chairperson of Committee on Agriculture and Food; and Engr. Remelyn R. Recoter, ATI National Director, gave inspirational messages and extended their support to ATI’s milestones.

The event also witnessed the testimonials from the ATI - Central Luzon beneficiaries, namely, Ms. Edjean Morales, EAsY Agri Scholar; and Mr. Rio Miranda, President of San Antonio Goat Raisers Association.

All of the center's partners such as Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office III; Offices of the Provincial Agriculturist and Offices of the Provincial Veterinarian in Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales; Aurora State College of Technology; Bataan Peninsula State University, Bulacan Agricultural State College; Central Luzon State University; Pampanga State Agricultural University; Tarlac Agricultural University, and President Ramon Magsaysay State University; CLAARRDEC; Office of Senator Cynthia Villar; Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), and Learning Sites for Agriculture in Central Luzon attended and were recognized during the event.

In addition, ATI-CL honored the loyalty awardees of the Center during the said program. Mr. Marbert P. Morales and Mr. Darwin C. Berces were recognized for their years of service to ATI.

Moreover, a commitment signing among ATI-CL’s staff was held on February 6 & 7, 2024. The commitment signing was headed by Dr. Belarmino and Dr. Jayvee Bryan G. Carillo, Assistant Center Director, together with all the staff of ATI.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the ATI-Central Office also hosted a nation-wide anniversary celebration for the whole ATI network on February 2-4, 2024 wherein the Center joined the "Agri Asenso" ATI Learning Sites Product Expo and Techno Forum at the TriNoma Malls, Activity Center in Quezon City. Fresh and processed products of the Learning Sites for Agriculture and Extension Service Providers can be purchased during the said Agri Asenso. The said expo generated Php1.1m of total sales.
