
In celebration of Filipino Food Month (Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino) with this yearโs theme โSarap ng Pagkaing Pilipino, Yaman ng Ating Kasaysayan, Kultura, at Pagkataoโ, this annual event seeks to highlight the richness and diversity of both traditional and contemporary Filipino cuisine, promote the countryโs vibrant culture, and recognize the invaluable contributions of farmers and fisherfolk in ensuring food security.
In support of this celebration, the ATI Central Office organized the โTaste of the Rural Flavors Cook-Offโ, a cooking competition featuring participants from various Rural Improvement Clubs (RICs) across the Philippines. The event also included a free seminar on Investment Opportunities for Emerging High-Value Crops in the Philippines
Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) extends its warmest congratulations to the RICs from the provinces of Aurora and Bataan for their active participation during the Filipino Food Month Cook-Off: Taste of the Rural Flavors, held at the Rural Development and Education Center (RDEC), ATI Compound, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City on April 15, 2025.

As part of the event, a booth competition was also conducted, where the region proudly displayed a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, native delicacies, and RIC-produced products, showcasing the ingenuity and productivity of rural communities.
