The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) took part in the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Seed Distribution Kick-Off Ceremony and Program Briefing held at Diwa ng Tarlak, Tarlac City on April 16, 2024.
Mr. Jayson S. Baldoz, Technical Staff of ATI-CL, served as a resource person, outlining the ATI-CL program under RCEF for the year 2024.
The event was attended by Tarlac City provincial executives, including Governor Susan Yap, Vice Governor Carlito David, 2nd District Congressman Christian Yap, and Board Members.

The objective of the event was to distribute high-quality inbred rice seeds to Tarlac farmers and expose them to the programs offered by RCEF. Information and insights from various RCEF implementing agencies such as Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) and Landbank of the Philippines were shared during the ceremony, followed by an open forum.
Moreover, a total of 82,000 bags of certified inbred rice seeds are slated for distribution among the municipalities of Tarlac province for the upcoming wet season this year.
