The Agricultural Training Institute - Central Luzon proceeded with the second leg of information caravan for Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP), on March 7, 2023 at Dinalungan, Aurora.
This activity is in partnership with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), DA-attached agencies, and other partner-agencies.
The program aims to increase the income and productivity of the coconut farmers in the country; promote poverty alleviation, education, and social equity; and rehabilitate and modernize the Philippine coconut industry.
“Ako po ay nagpapasalamat sa PCA, sa ATl at sa iba pa pong ahensiya na katulong po naming sa programa pong ito. Napakaganda po ng layunin ng programang ito at sana po maabot kaming lahat ng magniniyog. Nakapaganda po ng programa dahil nabigyang pansin po tayong mga magsasaka ng niyo kaya nakakatuwa pong malaman ang ganitong mga programa,” said Cristopher S. Talagtag, one of the coconut farmers who attended the briefing.
Further, present in the said caravan are the Municipal Agriculture Office - Dinalungan; PCA; Department of Trade and Industry (DTI); Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA); DA-Regional Field Office 3; Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC); Provincial Veterinary Office of Aurora; and Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech).
