The Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon (ATI-CL) conducted Consultation Meeting of the Rural-Based Organizations (RBOs) specifically for 4-H Club, Rural Improvement Club and Magsasaka Siyentista in region III held at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Camiling, Tarlac on February 26, 2025.
The consultation meeting started with the opening remarks of Dr. Ma. Elena T. Caguiao, Director of Research and Development of TAU. It was followed by the message of Ms. Guia D. Reyes, OIC-Chief of Partnership and Accreditation Section and RBO Focal Person.
In addition, Ms. Eula Dee A. Lañada, OIC-Chief of Information Services Section and Alternate Focal Person of RBO, gave an overview of activity to the participants.
The RBO Coordinators from each province discussed the updates and current situation of the program in their province as well as the accomplishments in FY 2024 and targets for FY 2025.
Furthermore, Ms. Reyes and Ms. Lanada, also discussed the updating of RBO (4H Club, Magsasaka Siyentista, and Rural Improvement Club) masterlists; Directives from ATI-Central Office: Youth in Agriculture & Rural-based Organizations Management Section; discussion of activities for Young Farmers Regional Bootcamp 2025; and gave a briefing on Gawad Saka Search for Agricultural Achievers.
At the end of the meeting, agreements and ways forward were formed which will be worked-out by the team immediately.
Lastly, Ms. Jessie Christine P. Tongol, Community Affairs Officer I of TAU, concluded the activity through her closing message.
