The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), through its Information Services Section (ISS), conducted a three-day Training on the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) for Rural-Based Organizations (RBOs) from March 25-27, 2025, at the ATI-RTC III Satellite Office in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

Thirty-three (33) participants, including Magsasaka Siyentista and 4-H Club members, gained a comprehensive understanding of the DFP. The training explored key components, course toolkits, and advanced agricultural applications, as well as different e-commerce platforms aimed to enhance their digital marketing strategies in the agricultural sector.

The program commenced with the acknowledgement of participants by Mr. Kent Edward S. Ballesteros, Media Production Specialist II. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Ms. Lily Dela Cruz, Agriculturist II, followed by a message and training overview presented by Ms. Eula Dee A. Lanada, Information Officer III and Project Officer.

Ms. Eula Dee A. Lanada, IO III; Mr. Kent Edward S. Ballesteros, MPS II; and Mr. John Patrick S. Gutierez, TSS IV, served as the resource speakers, who led the discussions on different topics. These included DFP 101 and 102; course toolkits and modules; basic and advanced agri-applications; basic and advanced social media marketing plans; different e-commerce platforms, and the process of digital transactions and online payments.

Moreover, the participants developed and submitted re-entry plans, outlining how they intend to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills within their respective groups.
