The Agricultural Training Institute- Central Luzon (ATI-CL) under the Partnerships and Accreditation Section (PAS) conducted 10-day Training of Trainers for New Local Farmer Technicians (LFTs), held at ATI-CL, San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan, from February 19-28, 2025.
A total of 32 farmer leaders from different provinces across Central Luzon participated in a comprehensive training program, which aimed to equipped new LFTs on rice; rice-based; and social technologies to guide them in implementing rice-related extension activities in their respective municipalities.
Also, prepare them with necessary skills and knowledge to be endorsed to DA-RFO III for potential inclusion as LFTs and provide technical assistance focusing on rice production and rice-based farming system.
Furthermore, the training incorporates different methods, including lecture-discussion, hands-on/practicum, open forum, microteaching, workshops, and the utilization of available Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials from the center.
Moreover, the participants submitted their re-entry plan, outlining the activities to be carried out in their respective areas.
