The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) staff participated in the Seminar on Gender Equality in the Workplace and Violence against Women and Children held on March 10, 2025, at ATI-CL, San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The seminar includes topics on Embracing Female Empowerment, Women Leadership, Republic Act 9262, Republic Act 11313, Microagressions, Gender Gap, The Role of Social Learning Theory, and such.
Ms. Juliana Gray L. Perol, Ms. Marrie Khris B. Clavera, and Mr. Kenz D. Velasco, Psychology Student-Interns, from Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) served as the resource persons of the said seminar.
Dr. Joey A. Belarmino, Center Director, stressed the importance of this seminar, especially to the staff who have experienced different conflicts when it comes to gender equality in the workplace.
Mr. Ronell Lagaria, Administrative Support Staff III, shared that regardless of gender, everyone is valid, โRegardless ng gender, lahat ay valid, lahat s aiyo ay valid-your emotions, your feelings are valid. Minsan sa sarili natin alam โyon sinasabi pala natin ay insult sa iba. Simple words kayan makasakit, kayan makapagpabao ng mood at attitude towards sa tao. Thank you dahil nai-guide kami rito sa workplace,โ he quipped.
Moreover, the seminar strengthened ATI-CLโs commitment to gender equality and inclusivity in the workplace.
The participants gained valuable insights on nurturing respect, awareness, and fairness, promoting a more supportive and equitable work environment.
