The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with the Villar Foundation, conducted the Training Course on Agripreneurship held at the Villar Foundation Farm School, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, on October 15-17, 2024.

This activity aimed to equip the participants with the right knowledge, skills, and attitude for them to operate their agricultural enterprise.

During the opening program, Ms. Elsa F. Victoria, Training Specialist III of ATI-CL, welcomed the thirty (30) participants from different provinces in Central Luzon and expressed her interest in creating, building, maintaining, and enhancing their own agri-enterprises.

Ms. Victoria explained the importance of having the correct knowledge, skills, and attitude in achieving success on their ventures.

Furthermore, the participants were able to learn the different theories, processes, and technicalities of establishing a business, also involved lectures and workshops which enabled them to be wary of the correct mindset, attitude, and vision towards establishing a successful enterprise.

The discussions were facilitated by Mr. Karlo F. Galang, General Manager of the Kitanglad Multipurpose Cooperative, which is based in Quezon City.

Additionally, the participants submitted an Enterprise Development Plan, which will serve as their guide for their target business, specifying their objectives, activities, financial requirements, and strategies. This plan will be monitored by the training management a year after the conduct of the training.

Moreover, the training concluded through a closing ceremony where the participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone present at the event and their commitment to turn their plans into a successful agricultural enterprise.
