The Agricultural Training Institute - Central Luzon (ATI-CL) concluded the final leg of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) information caravan in the province of Aurora on March 16, 2023 at San Luis, Aurora.
The CFIDP aims to increase the income and productivity of coconut farmers in the country, promote poverty alleviation, education, and social equity, and rehabilitate and modernize the Philippine coconut industry.
“Magandang tanghali po sa ating lahat. Malaking tulong po ito sa aming magniniyog. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa tulong na binigay sa amin,” said Reynold Lanillo, expressing his gratitude for the program.
This initiative is in collaboration with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), DA-attached agencies, and other partner agencies.
Additionally, the caravan included representatives from the Municipal Agriculture Office - Dinalungan, PCA, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), DA-Regional Field Office 3, Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Provincial Veterinary Office of Aurora, and the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization.
