Selected members of the Rural-Based Organization especially rural women attended the Training Course on Production Technology with Extension Support on June 13-15, 2023 in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.
The participants tackled the basics of vegetable production. In addition, they prepared natural/organic inputs and identified insects, pests, and diseases of vegetables as well as its management. Further, they learned how to write a project proposal and prepare a business plan.
โNow I understand why many farmers fail to harvest their crops on time because of wrong practices in farming. Thank you for this training because we gained a lot of wisdom and we can apply it to our farming practices,โ said Salvacion Balboa, a participant.
Mr. Luis Bausa of Bausa Integrated Farm in San Ildefonso, Bulacan served as the resource person for the activity.
