The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) inked a partnership with Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU)-Abucay Campus through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan, today, April 2, 2024.
The activity aims to strengthen the existing collaboration of both institutions, a MOA was signed by Dr. Ruby B. Santos-Matibag, BPSU President, and Dr. Joey A. Belarmino, ATI-CL Center Director. Part of the collaboration is the internship program of agriculture students to ATI-CL.
President Matibag was represented by Ms. Shirly Chuanco, BPSU-Abucay Campus Internship Coordinator, and Ms. Reinalyn Gulen, ATI-CL Partnership and Accreditation Office-in-Charge Chief.
Dr. Belarmino opened the internship orientation program by extending a warm welcome to the student interns.
Additionally, Ms. Chuanco expressed gratitude to the center for providing students with the opportunity to participate in the internship program.
Moreover, Ms. Babelyn P. Lopez, Career Development and Management Section (CDMS) Training Specialist II; Mr. Kent Edward S. Ballesteros, Information Services Section (ISS) Media Production Specialist II; and Ms. Reinalyn C. Gulen, Partnership and Accreditation Section (PAS) Office-in-Charge, briefed the student interns on the functions of their respective sections.
A total of 12 Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students are expected to complete a 240-hour internship program as part of this collaboration.
