The Masaganang Coco-buhayan: Radyo Eskwela sa Pagniniyugan or SOA-CFIDP - Regional Technical Working Group (RTWG) in Aurora composed of members from ATI- Central Luzon, Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), and Office of the Provincial Agriculture-Aurora (OPA-Aurora), conducted its first meeting in Aurora Provincial Agricultural Development Training Center, Baler, Aurora on April 2, 2024.
The said meeting was participated by three (3) ATI- Central Luzon staff, Mr. Juan F. Milar, Jr., Division Chief and eight staff from PCA, Ms. Glarizza Balbarez from DA-RFO III, and Mr. Manuel Amatorio, CFIDP Coordinator from OPA-Aurora.
The agenda of the RTWG included the development of modules of the 18 episodes of the program. The team also devised plans and strategies for the implementation as it is the first time to conduct the SOA-CFIDP in the region.
The Province of Aurora is the target of the SOA-CFIDP which has an abundant supply of coconut.
A total of 520 coconut farmers will participate in the said activity, which will be launched on July 16, 2024.
