The Agricultural Training Institute of Central Luzon (ATI-CL) held the 2nd batch of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Program (CFIDP) Information Caravan in Barangay Manggitahan, Dilasag, Aurora on March 12, 2024.
With the theme “Masagana, Matatag, at Progresibong Industriya ng Niyog sa Bansa,” it aims to disseminate knowledge and information about the government programs for the coconut farmers in the Philippines.
Moreover, the said program seeks to modernize and improve the coconut industry in the country.
The program started with the recognition of guests and participants, which was led by Ms. Meamette Y. Rosario, ATI-CL Technical Support Staff IV.
Ms. Elizabeth Pascual, Municipal Agriculturist of Dilasag, Aurora, extended a warm welcome to the participants.
Furthermore, Senator Cynthia A. Villar also gave an encouraging message to the participants through a video message.
With the continuation of the program, Mr. Eugenio Dayacus and Mr. Aien Padua, Agriculturists I of the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA)—Aurora, discussed and explained the purpose and importance of the program.
Meanwhile, different partner agencies of the ATI-CL include Mr. Joseph Farro, OIC-Marketing Sales Division of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) in Aurora; Mr. Ruben L. Abucejo, Jr., Cooperative Development Specialist II of the Cooperative Development Authority in Region III; Mr. Aldrin M. Veneracion, Provincial Director of the Department of Trade and Industry in Aurora; and Ms. Analyn T. Nicolas, Administrative Assistant III of TESDA in Aurora.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Eula Dee A. Lañada, ATI-CL OIC-Section Chief of the Information Services Section (ISS) and Information Officer II and extended her gratitude to the guests and participants.
