The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with the Villar Sipag Foundation, the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), and the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech), concluded the Phase 1 of Capacity Building on Institutional and Organizational Management for Shared Processing Facility (SPF) Beneficiaries under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) program held at Zen Tierras Farm in Dingalan, Aurora, from April 15 to 17, 2024.
The training aimed to enhance leadership skills, discuss policy formulation and parliamentary procedures, and address professional business ethics.
Additionally, it defined managerial roles, functions, and occupational health and safety procedures.
PhilMech and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) provided expert resource persons for the training and conducted an activity that was tackled on the discussion and how they may utilize the knowledge gained from the training.
Moreover, 20 coconut farmers from Dingalan participated in the event.
The closing program was attended by Dr. Joey A. Belarmino, ATI-CL Center Director; Mr. Dennis Andres, PCA Regional Manager; Mr. Juan Milar Jr., PCA-Aurora Division Chief; and Mr. Freddierick Ramos.
