The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) successfully concluded a two-day workshop on "Collaborate to Elevate: Unlocking Teamwork Skills for Workplace Success" at St. Isidore βThe Farmerβ Resort, Sta. Ana, Pampanga, held from November 13 to 14, 2024.
The activity aimed to enhance collaboration and teamwork skills among ATI-CL staff, with 25 participants from different sections engaging in activities designed to nurture workplace development.
Mr. Carlo S. Roberto, Unit Head of the Administrative and Finance Unit/Project Officer, facilitated the workshop alongside AFU staff, and he provided an overview of the activity.
Ms. Mariane A. Joaquin, a registered psychologist, shared her insights on effective leadership and team dynamics. Her discussion focused on the essential role of leadership in nurturing collaboration, communication, and cohesion within teams. Ms. Joaquin's experience guided participants in understanding how to build and lead teams that work efficiently and harmoniously towards shared goals.
The workshop covered different topics, including Developing Effective Teams at Work, the importance of Collaboration and Communication in Workplace Teams, and Group Cohesion and Dynamics. Participants engaged in hands-on activities and exercises, designed to challenge their teamwork capabilities and for deeper understanding of workplace collaboration.
Furthermore, Dr. Joey A. Belarmino, Center Director, thanked the training management team for their role in the success of the workshop. He emphasized the importance of unity, effective communication, and conflict resolution skills in the workplace, which were central themes throughout the event.
As part of the workshopβs conclusion, participants were tasked with developing action plans for their respective sections. These plans are intended to address current challenges and implement solutions based on the knowledge and strategies learned during the session, ensuring that the benefits of the training will be sustained in their daily operations.
Moreover, the workshop marks a significant step towards strengthening teamwork, enhancing communication, and nurturing a positive and productive work environment atthe center.
