The Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon (ATI-CL) in partnership with the League of Municipal and City Agriculturists of the Philippines (LeMMCAP) conducts the β€œFirst Luzon Municipal and City Agriculturists Year-End Assessment and Planning,” at Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), Science City of MuΓ±oz, Nueva Ecija, on November 28-29, 2024.

The year-end assessment and planning session brought together 200 municipal and city agriculturists from Luzon. In addition, officials from LeMMCAP across Regions 1, 2, 4, and 5 participated in the activity, in collaboration with other government agencies such as: DA-RFO III; ATI-RTC III; and the PCC, to implement the proposed program.

The League of Municipal Agricultural Officers and Municipal and City Agriculturists of the Philippines (LeMMCAP) is a formal entity dedicated to enhancing the agricultural sector, focusing on the professional development of agricultural extension workers. As a key collaborator with the Department of Agriculture, LeMMCAP plays a pivotal role in the execution of initiatives and programs to advance farmers' welfare within the region.

This partnership facilitates the deployment of targeted strategies and interventions designed to address the needs and challenges faced by the agricultural community, ultimately contributing to sustainable agricultural development.

The activity aimed to evaluate achievements, identify challenges, and pinpoint areas for improvement from the past year.

Additionally, it seeks to enhance collaboration and participation, as well as raise awareness to effectively implement the programs and projects initiated by the national government.
