The Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with the Office of Senator Grace Poe, concluded the Binhi ng Pag-asa National Summit and Year-End Assessment (NSYA) held at the Swiss-Belhotel Blulane in Binondo, Manila from November 27 to 29, 2024.

The three-day event brought together delegates from the provinces of Tarlac, Laguna, and Oriental Mindoro, who showcased their talents, knowledge, and skills through different competitions.

The NSYA served as a platform for the beneficiaries to demonstrate their innovations, creativity, and practical applications in agriculture. Participants competed in five categories, each designed to highlight their achievements and promote agricultural advancements.

The Province of Tarlac emerged as one of the standout performers at the summit, securing multiple awards across different categories:

Agri-Innovation: BPP Project Pitching

1st place: Tuyo Lang; and

6th place: 3K Bio Briq

AgriLegislative: Policy Making Competition 3rd place: Magna Carta for Filipino Farmer’s Empowerment, Welfare, and Resilience Act of 2024

Kwento ng Pag-asa: Provincial Video Competition 3rd place

Provincial Feud: BPP Knowledge Competition 1st place

The Unveiled Treasure: Booth Competition 3rd place

Dances of Diversity: Cultural Dance Competition 2nd place

These achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the Tarlac delegation, whose contributions to the event were invaluable. The province’s performance in the competition emphasizes the success of the Binhi ng Pag-asa program, which aims to empower local farmers and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
