To ensure a coordinated, efficient, and client-centered delivery of agricultural extension services in the region, the DA-ATI CALABARZON strategized its operations in an activity themed “Strategy to Action: FY 2026 Operational Planning and FY 2027 Preparation of Plans and Budget Proposals,” held on January 19-21 in Magdalena, Laguna .
The workshop focused on budget planning, comprehensive scheduling of trainings and extension activities across all banner programs, and aligning FY 2026 Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) targets. These strategic discussions centered on translating plans into actionable programs that directly support farmers, fisherfolk, and other agri-stakeholders in CALABARZON.
Center Director Dr. Rolando V. Maningas supervised the activity and emphasized accountability, shared commitment, and the strategic use of resources as foundations of effective agricultural extension.
Meanwhile, Assistant Center Director Ms. Sherylou C. Alfaro commended the workforce for the harmonious and productive planning process and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of programs for FY 2026.
Coinciding with the Institute’s 39th Founding Anniversary celebration, these efforts reflect DA-ATI CALABARZON’s continued commitment to purposeful planning, strong teamwork, and responsive and citizen-centric extension services.
