Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training in Japan 2026

About the Program

The Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training Program in Japan (YFFLTPJ) is a prestigious exchange initiative jointly implemented by the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) and the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC) since 1986.

This long-standing partnership aims to equip deserving young Filipino farmers with practical knowledge, advanced farming techniques, and leadership skills through a hands-on, immersive training experience in Japan.

Through this program, participants are given the opportunity to:

✅ Learn modern and sustainable Japanese agricultural practices

✅ Immerse in Japanese culture and rural community life

✅ Enhance their skills in farm management, entrepreneurship, and innovation

✅ Return to the Philippines as empowered farmer-leaders and role models for agricultural development
