With the theme “Loyalty in Action: Driving Agricultural Excellence through Service and Accountability,” the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in MIMAROPA commemorates its 39th Founding Anniversary on February 5, 2026.
The celebration kicked off with a Thanksgiving Mass, followed by the opening program. In his message, Center Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos emphasized that as public servants, it is important that everyone put their best foot forward and challenged them to continuously reflect on their commitment to inclusive and people-centered service.
“We should continue serving our people—farmers, fishers, youth, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and even persons deprived of liberty. Thus, as we move forward with our activities, plans, and programs this year, the question is: “Can we really do it?”, he said.
One of the highlights of the celebration was a series of games, including Pera o Bayong: ATI-MIMAROPA Edition and Red Light, Green Light, which the employees enjoyed.
A seminar on Loyalty and Accountability at work commenced the afternoon session, where the staff learned various work ethics and personality development tips. Mr. Rius Anthony C. Agua, City Councilor of Calapan City, served as the resource person.
The celebration concluded with the awarding ceremony for the Loyalty Awardees, honoring staff who served for five (5) years, 10 years, 15 years, and 30 years. The awardees are as follows:
