As technology advances, and work methods and strategies expand, ATI MIMAROPA recognizes the need to capacitate and enhance staff's knowledge and skills through undergoing relevant and continuous training.

One of the initiatives being done by the Center is the conduct of Brown Bag Sessions among the ATI Staff. Brown bag session is an informal meeting or training which fosters sharing of information and learning session among small group of people.

Relatively, ATI MIMAROPA spearheaded by the Information Services Section conducted a Skills-Based Capability Enhancement for its Staff focusing on Basic Editing using Adobe Photoshop on September 8, 2022 at ATI e-Lounge, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

Mr. Michael Daven T. Jugno, Project Development Assistant II served as resource speaker of the activity. During the activity, he enumerated the tools and functions of Adobe Photoshop. Moreover, he demonstrated how to edit and manipulate the photo using Adobe Photoshop. What made the activity participative and interactive was the hands-on activity wherein the resource person discussed or demonstrated the tools and its usage while the participants simultaneously do it.

After the session, each participant was tasked to design one #AgriTrivia or #HugotBukid - one of the post contents in ATI MIMAROPA Facebook Page using Adobe Photoshop.

Engr. Cristina P. Intong, Training Specialist II also appreciated the activity. She said that as trainer, ATI staff should not stop learning and seek for more skills and competencies to continuously deliver excellent extension services to stakeholders.

A total of 10 staff participated in the activity.
