Ten (10) Farmers and 13 Youth attended the Digital Farmers Program 101 - Batch 1 for 2021 at Brgy. Tuban, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.
DFP 101 aims to equip farmers with the knowledge, information, and skills on digital tools and technologies, including smart phone applications, social media platforms, and agriculture applications to finance and e-commerce platforms, entrepeneurship, and smart farming technologies, in order to help them make better decisions, improve efficiencies, access more market and opportunities, and enhance their livelihood. DFP also engages the youth, who are more tech-savy, to guide the farmers in using the digital tools and to enjoin them to continue building the agriculture industry in the country.
This DFP batch was made possible in partnership with Smart Communications with the assistance of Municipal Agiculture Office of Sablayan.
