BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Young Filipino farmers preferably but not necessarily a member of 4-H Club in the Philippines or recipients of DA-AMAS Young Farmers Challenge Program;
- Out-of-school youth with at least a High School Diploma (Old Curriculum) or Senior High School Diploma (K-12), or a college graduate,preferably but not necessarily graduate of any agriculture-related courses or a technical or vocational graduate;
- Single male or female between 20 to 30 years old, has no live-in partner nor pregnant (for female interns) or with a child at the time of application and departure;
- Has existing agricultural land, regardless of size and status of ownership;
- Has good community standing and/or moral character certified by the Barangay Captain;
- Must have at least one (1) year of accumulated farming experience (after high school graduation) at the time of application;
- Has good communication skills and good English proficiency certified by their respective Local Government Units (LGUs);
- Not related to any ATI employee by affinity or consanguinity, for up to 3rd degree certified by the regional Screening Committee;
- Have no overdue obligations from the ATI at the time of application;
- Not a recipient of ATI's other IIPs, and has no previous overseas travel related to the IIPs;
- Willing to learn new technologies and foreign languages duly signed by the applicant;
- A certificate from the doctor of no tattoos and/or piercing in any part of the body, ear piercing is allowed for females; and
- Passed the following Medical examination/tests, conducted in diagnostic clinics, hospitals, or laboratories accredited by the Department of Health (DOH), with ALL Laboratory Results and Medical Certificates indicating “Fit to Work” remarks.
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:
- Personal Information Sheet (Form No. 1);
- Personal History (Form No. 2);
- Certificate of Farming Experience and Basic English Knowledge (Form No, 3);
- Municipal/City Endorsement Letter signed by the City/Municipal Agriculturist (Form No. 4);
- Provincial Selection Committee’s Endorsement (Form No. 5);
- Certificate of No Overdue Obligations from ATI (Form No.6);
- Certificate of Commitment to Learn Foreign Language and New Farming Technologies (Form No.7);
- Regional Selection Committee’s Endorsement (Form No. 8);
- Letter of Recommendation from the Center Director of ATI-RTC (Form 9)
- Duly signed Field Validation Form;
- Narrative Report during the field validation approved by the Center Director;
- Certified true copy of Training Certificates on agriculture and non-agriculture courses;
- Transcript of Records (TOR) or Certification from the last school attended;
- Original National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Police Clearance with 1-year validity;
- Original PSA Birth Certificate and Certificate of Live Birth from the Local Civil Registrar Office;
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) or ID;
- Original Philippine Passport valid for at least three (3) years at the time of application;
