Aiming to drive the development, modernization and overall economic growth of the coconut industry, the ATI Bicol, in collaboration with Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and other implementing agencies, spearheaded the 2024 Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Program Techno Forum on July 31, 2024 at Summit Hotel, Naga City.

Specifically, the one-day activity was designed to: enhance knowledge and skills of the industry players; foster collaborations to address challenges and explore opportunities; encourage sustainable practices in coconut farming and processing; facilitate better market access; and advocate for policies that support the development and growth of the coconut industry.

The activity was participated by coconut farmers and farmer leaders who are registered at the National Coconut Farmers’ Registry System (NCFRS).
