LS COOPERATORS CONVENED FOR SUSTAINABLE PARTNERSHIPS TOWARDS EFFECTIVE TRAINING IMPLEMENTATION

Learning Site Cooperators share experiences in their operations and endeavor during the workshop.

TIGBAUAN, Iloilo – To enhance its Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) cooperators’ knowledge and attitude toward sustainable partnerships, ATI Region 6 through its Partnerships and Accreditations Section (PASS) hosted the LSA quarterly meeting.

During the meeting, obligations and responsibilities of the LSA cooperator’s was reiterated to the participants. Furthermore, certificates were awarded to the six newly-approved LSA applicants and financial support for the other seven qualified LSA. A workshop supervised by PASS OIC- Chief Vianney Ojerio was also conducted to cater issues and concerns and for the sharing of best practices.

Meanwhile, RCEF Focal Person Rodel Leyson, assured the LSA cooperators of the Institute’s backing in their training endeavors. “We will continue our support for our LSA’s in their efforts to conduct effective and efficient training programs for our rice farmers”, he said during his message.

By participating in the meeting and workshop, LSA cooperators were given the skills necessary to functions as Learning Sites for Agriculture and Farmer Field Schools. This is a step toward preventing potential problems and observing best practices.

The meeting was participated by 30 LSA cooperators and was held last July 28, 2022 in Namocon, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
