BANGA, Aklan – Sixty farm owners and cooperators across the Region attend the Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) Forum and Quarterly Meeting at ATI Training Hall, ASU Compound on April 21-22, 2022.

The two-day activity aims to enhance the LSA’s knowledge and attitude on transformational leadership and sustaining partnership, documenting their activities including their corresponding obligations and responsibilities, widen opportunities in accessing relevant services to possibly level up to farm school and farm tourism sites.

On the first day, Lyn G. Bantigue, ATI Region 6’s Agriculturist II/Project Officer, discussed the obligations of LSA cooperators while Vianney T. Ojerio, ATI Region 6’s Development Management Officer II, tackled the presentation of the LSA report and other forms including some workshops and report writing.

On the second day of the event, Jireh Grace Bastistin, Faculty Staff of ASU Ibajay, conveyed to the participants the basics of farm tour guiding for their individual learning sites.

The farm owners and cooperators also shared their best practices in their learning sites, helping each other to adopt and gain valuable experiences.
