ATI REGION 6 SETS TO SAIL TOWARDS FY2024 AND FY2025

Mary Ann A. Ramos, ATI Region 6’s Center Director, starts the FY 2024 Operational Planning and FY 2025 Plans and Budget Proposal Preparation by encouraging the ATI Staff to live in a VUCA world. 

BAROTAC NUEVO, Iloilo – “As we move forward, we must live in a VUCA world. This word means V for Volatility, U for Uncertainty, C for Complexity, and A for Ambiguity. Being volatile means you are accountable to rapid change that may occur; next is you are ready for what is uncertain ahead; then, you need to prepare for what may complicate; and lastly, you are vulnerable to any clarifications,” Mary Ann A. Ramos, ATI Region 6’s Center Director, opens the FY 2024 Operational Planning and FY 2025 Plans and Budget Proposal Preparation with all attending ATI Staff on January 24-26, 2024 in INA Farmers Learning Site & Agri-Farm Inc.

The first day begins with presenting the FY 2023 Physical and Financial Performances and Accomplishments to the participants on the first day of the activity. The reports highlight the accomplishment of 174 training and other activities conducted. It was followed by the discussion of Dianne D. Rivera, Planning Officer-Designate, with the FY 2024 Government Appropriations Act (GAA), Budget Allocations, and Plans and Budget. Meanwhile, Mary Jean B. Yupano, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer-Designate, explained the ATI Monitoring and Evaluation System Operations Manual. Vianney T. Ojerio, OIC- Assistant Center Director, ended the day by delegating tasks to Permanent Employees and Contract of Service Personnel.

The next day, the point person for every commodity and source of funds showed their corresponding FY2025 plans and budget proposal. After each presentation, Ms. Rivera asked for the assistance of the staff in submitting the CY 2023 Highlights of Accomplishments for inclusion in the ATI Annual Report to the Central Office. Each commodity focal person agreed to send highlights of their accomplishments after the meeting. The session continued with updates on the compliance of the Travel Accomplishment Report, preparation of ATI RTC VI Annual Report, online monitoring for training/activities, procurement and finance, motor pool office, and dormitory and training facilities. Ms. Ramos sealed the second day with a discussion on some administrative matters, including new office uniform, office ID, organizational structure, monthly submission to DA of Approved Travels, and ATI Founding Anniversary.

The last day commenced with the accomplishment, review, and submission of the FY2023 2nd Semester Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) Form, development of FY2024 IPCR Form (1st and 2nd Semesters); and Personal Data Sheet (PDS) and Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and New worth (SALN).

“We have accomplished this activity because we focused more outside the Center. Thank you, Ma’am Maan and Sir Vian. We are now ready for our targets this year and the next. Our targets may be numerous, but we can do it,” uttered Lyn G. Bantigue, Agriculturist II of ATI Region 6’s PAS, during her impression in the closing program.

This activity aims to harmonize ATI-RTC VI’s Plans and Budget Proposals for FY 2024, review the performance of FY 2023, and plan out for FY 2025.
