PAVIA, Iloilo—Representatives from Concepcion Carillo Agricultural Farm (CFarm) and Crisel Integrated Farm reigned as the Best Social Media Marketing Planners and Presenters, respectively, during the recently concluded Digital Agriculture Course (DAC) for RCEF Training of Trainers, which ran from April 16-18, 2024, at TSKI Institute Integrated Farm School, Mali-ao.
Twenty-nine farm school trainers from various TESDA-accredited farm schools in the Region embraced the new agriculture-related digital technologies through the said training. They delved into the topics of the two modules, composed of DAC 101 and 102. These topics include Smartphone 101, Accessing the Internet and Basic Safety Tips, Basic and Advanced Agriculture ICT Tools, Basic and Advanced Social Media Marketing, Agriculture Apps on Rice, e-commerce Platforms, and Mobile Money. The Resource Persons guided the participants in planning, conducting, and facilitating the course in their farm schools. They have formulated social media content, marketing, and re-entry plans.
During the hands-on activities on the Advanced Mobile Agricultural Applications topic, the participants scanned the rice leaf to test the LCC mobile application.
After the hands-on activities, the closing program featured some outputs. DAC Troopers shined during the Canva Poster Making. Meanwhile, here are the names of the Best Social Media Marketing Planners from CFarm and Best Presenters from Crisel Integrated Farm.

Each farm school also bagged a home prepaid wifi for their recorded microteaching session, which is the final requirement of this training.
The program adopted the ATI and Smart Communication's Digital Farmers Program, an ICT-based ladderized capacity development program focusing on essential digital tools for more complex services such as e-commerce and online payments.
