BANGA, Aklan –ATI Region 6 conducts the first-ever Suppliers Forum: Procurement Process and Opportunities today at ATI Training Hall, ASU Compound on January 17, 2025.

Selected suppliers from various offices and industries attended the activity. OIC-Assistant Center Director Vianney T. Ojerio, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Chairperson, presented the overview of the Procurement Law to the participants. Meanwhile, Ms. Dianne D. Rivera, BAC Secretariat Head, discussed thoroughly the various modes of procurement and some advisories regarding that matter. Moreover, Mr. Rochee Repiano, the Supply Officer, showed the Evaluation Criteria, Comments, and Feedback on the services they provided. Generally, most of the suppliers got a satisfactory rating.

Numerous suppliers from various industries and services attended the first-ever forum.

One of the highlights of this activity was the open forum in which the participants got the opportunity to ask questions about the requested specifications of the Center on the services they sought. BAC Chairperson Ojerio answered these queries and offered to agree with both parties. Before the activity ended, Ms. Larney F. Marasigan, BAC Secretariat Member, reiterated this activity's agreements and ways forward.

This forum aims to increase awareness of prospective and existing ATI-RTC VI suppliers and service providers about the Center's Procurement process, procurement advisories, and procurement opportunities towards efficient procurement activities for FY 2025 and beyond.
