BANGA, Aklan – The first batch of ATI Region 12 staff composed of the Information Services Section and Administrative and Finance Unit visits the oldest province in the Philippines as they chose ATI Region 6 at Banga, Aklan, to be the venue of their benchmarking through experiential-based learning on February 11-14, 2025.

The ATI Region 6 prepared a brief welcome program, which includes the introduction of Western Visayas and the Center’s personnel. ATI Region 6’s Center Director welcomed the visitors and shared how the Center settled in Aklan State University Compound for over three decades. On the other hand, Ms. Hannadi S. Guiamad-Pompong, ATI Region 12’s OIC-Assistant Center Director, shared the rationale behind choosing ATI Region 6 as their benchmarking site. During the program, some staff shared the region’s geographic profile, local delicacies, exquisite tourist attractions, and the overview of the Center’s best practices.

Before the program ended, the two centers exchanged tokens as an appreciation. ATI Region 12 also visited and observed the various learning sites for agriculture within the Western Visayas during their four-day activity. Meanwhile, the arrival of their second batch is expected on February 17 and will last until February 20.
