BANGA, Aklan - ATI Region 6, as the Department of Agriculture’s arm of action, held the Hydroponics Gardening: How to Grow Soilless Plants training on March 12-14, 2025, at ATI Training Hall, ASU Compound, Banga, Aklan.
The said training is the DA's initiative, namely the National Urban and Peri- Urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP) under Administrative Order No. 03, Series of 2022, which mainly promotes food security.

One of the participants executed their lesson in preparation for their hands-on exercise
NUPAP beneficiaries of ATI RTC VI, agricultural extension workers, farmers, and ATI-Accredited Learning Site Representatives attended the activity.
Lectured - discussions, structured learning exercises, small group workshop sessions, and simulation or role-playing occurred during the training as part of the methodology.

The resource speaker thoroughly explains the techniques in hydroponics
Additionally, they visited the Aklan Agri-Aqua Demonstration Farm and Training Center at Brgy. Nalook, Kalibo, Aklan to further demonstrate and execute the learning they gained from their discussions.
The training is believed to offer the participants more knowledge and ideas regarding hydroponics gardening.
