Bantigue, Agriculturist II, awarded the assistance worth Php 150,000 each to the farm owners namely as Angel S. Reyes III of the former and Alvin A. The Granja La Verde Farm was established in the year 2015 with only 1,000.00 sqm. While, Barrios Fruits and Vegetables Integrated Farm was started  last November 23, 2017, with a total farm area of 7,000.00 sqm.

Both Learning Site Operators are advocates of the application of organic farming techniques. They produce high valued crops like salad greens, mushrooms, and culinary herbs. The pandemic opens a huge increase in demand for healthy food, particularly organic produce that became their motivation to continue expanding their farm. They also believe that other farmers were not their competitors instead their allies in exploring the vast opportunity of farming.
