SEARCH FOR SCHOLARS FOR THE EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE YOUTH IN AGRICULTURE (EAsY Agri)
To further encourage and increase participation of the youth in the Philippine agriculture industry, ATI offers the third batch of the EAsY Agri Scholarship, which will commence on the First Semester of the School Year 2023-2024. ATI Region 6 is in search for the next batch of qualified scholars.
Criteria for Eligibility
1. A Filipino citizen;
2. Willing to pursue a college degree in agriculture, fisheries or any agri-related course;
3. Not more than 30 years old at the time of application to the scholarship;
4. A son or daughter or ward of a farmer/fisherfolk, whose parents/guardians are
registered or have applied for registration in the RSBSA;
5. A graduate of Senior High School with a GPA/GWA of at least 85%;
6. A passer of the entrance/qualifying examination or equivalent assessment prescribed by the school;
7. Must not be a delinquent scholar of a previous scholarship;
8. Must have no pending legal case;
9. Must not be related by consanguinity or affinity within the 2nd degree to any ATI employee;
10. Physically and mentally fit.
Coverage
Four academic years in any state university or college with any of the following degrees:
1. BS Agriculture
2. Bs Agribusiness
3. BS Fisheries
4. BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering
5. Forestry and Natural Resources Courses
6. Environmental Science Courses
7. Other Agri-related and animal science courses, including Veterinary Medicine
Documentary Requirements
1. Accomplished scholarship Form with attached 2"x2" photo;
2. Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) copy of birth certificate;
3. Certification from the Municipal Agriculture Office that the applicant is a bona-fide son/daughter or ward of a small-scale farmer/fisherfolk with RSBSA registration number or a Certification of filing for registration from the Municipal Agriculture Office;
4. Certificate of Indigency issued by the Barangay Captain;
5. Certified true copy of Senior High School Report Card (Form 138) or photocopy of the High School Report Card signed by the applicant’s adviser or principal;
6. Application documents to the chosen SUC or copy of the result of the entrance /qualifying examination;
7. Notarized Affidavit of non-delinquency in any previous scholarship signed by the applicant;
8. Certification of good moral character from the school last attended or the Barangay, or a Police Clearance;
9. Notarized Affidavit of No Relation with any ATI Employee signed by the applicant;
10. Certifications of
a. Good health from a government physician with X-ray and negative drug test results, and;
b. Mental fitness issued by the Guidance Counselor of the scholar’s chosen University or from a government/private institution. Both must be taken within the last two months and to be submitted only if the applicant qualifies in the shortlist.
Deadline of application is extended to July 21, 2023.
