ATI REGION 6 LAUNCHES 'TRAINING WITH IMPACT' SERIES WITH RP DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Participants from the Department of Agriculture's line agencies, Local Government Units, and ATI Region 6 huddle to celebrate their success during the Closing Program. 

KALIBO, Aklan—ATI Region 6 tackled the professional development of 16 Agricultural Extension Workers and 4 ATI staff during the Training with Impact: Resource Person Development Course, which was held from March 19 to 22, 2024, at the Ati-atihan Festival Hotel, Población, Kalibo, Aklan. The training aimed to enhance the participants’ communication and presentation skills to serve as resource persons in their respective fields of expertise. 

The course empowered participants across the region with the skills necessary to deliver impactful training sessions. It covered various topics crucial for today's dynamic extension environments, from pedagogical techniques to effective extension communication, technological integration, and monitoring evaluation schemes.

Participants undergo intensive training in communication skills, learning to engage diverse audiences in the agriculture sector through interactive methods and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

The participants were also rated in their successful application of what they had learned during the microteaching session, demonstrating their preparedness and competence. 

This inaugural batch of the RP Development Course under the Regular Program is an opportunity for the participants to enhance their skills and contribute to the growth of the agriculture sector.
