Tagbilaran City, Bohol – February 12, 2025 – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Central Visayas concluded the final leg of the Collaborate to Elevate: A Harmonization Session for Provincial Agriculture and Fishery Extension Center (PAFEC) Primovers on February 11-12, 2025, at the ATI-7 Training Complex in Tagbilaran City.

The two-day session aimed to enhance cooperation among various stakeholders in Bohol's agricultural and fishery sectors, focusing on the development of an operational plan for agri-fishery extension activities for fiscal year (FY) 2025.

During the event, agreements were reached to ensure smoother coordination and better alignment of programs. Key decisions include:

Coordination of activities with the Office of the Provincial Agriculture (OPA)-Planning Division.

OPA will take the lead in PAFEC-related activities.
National government agencies (NGAs) will provide schedules and lists of projects and beneficiaries to PAFEC.

Monthly updates on the PPA implementation will continue through the PCCAF meetings with Municipal Agricultural Officers (MA/MAO).

Quarterly assessments and PAFEC meetings will be held, in alignment with DA-RFO7’s budget allocation.

Requests between agencies will be routed through PAFEC.

PAFEC will also send communication to NGAs for the issuance of Special Orders designating permanent and alternate focal points for agri-fishery extension services.

The session is seen as an important step toward more effective collaboration, better planning, and streamlined processes for agri-fishery development in Bohol.
