Digital Farmers Program (DFP) for RBOs – February 18-20, 2025
The Digital Farmers Program (DFP) for Rural Based Organizations (RBOs) was successfully conducted from February 18-20, 2025, at Elizabeth Hotel, Cebu City. The event gathered a total of 31 participants from the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, and Negros Oriental, who engaged in a comprehensive three-day workshop aimed at enhancing their digital literacy and agricultural practices through innovative technology.

Mr. Jayson Q. Coquilla, representing the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, presented on the Basic and Advanced Agricultural Applications, offering in-depth knowledge on utilizing digital tools to improve agricultural practices, thereby boosting productivity and sustainability in farming.
Ms. Shanemie Carelle Daquio-Pradera led a session on Smartphone 101 and Accessing the Internet, providing essential guidance on navigating smartphones and the internet effectively. She also covered critical Basic Internet Safety Tips, equipping participants with the skills to stay secure online.
Ms. Janille Gultiano, a representative from PLDT-Smart, delivered an engaging session on the e-Commerce Platform, emphasizing the importance of digital sales and business growth. In parallel, her colleague Mr. Sam Gonzaga discussed the Online Payment Platforms, highlighting the tools that can streamline financial transactions in the digital space.
Ms. May Joy P. Luzon shared her expertise in Advanced Social Media Marketing, exploring strategies for leveraging social media platforms to expand reach and engage potential customers, ultimately driving business success.
